Aims and Objectives
  • To stimulate and maintain an interest in Foreign Languages and to make the learning of French as enjoyable as possible.
  • To encourage students to take active responsibility for their own learning and to become lifelong learners.
  • To encourage students to understand the relevance of Foreign Languages in their future lives.

Assessment

The assessment for French takes place in year 11. The assessment is divided into four exams - coursework (25%), speaking (25%), listening (25%) and reading (25%).

Lessons

We try to stimulate our students' interest using ICT, interactive white boards, mini individual white boards, movies in the target languages and games.
